چکیده
Organic colourants have important applications in many fields. Their photostability is an characteristic. Several methods to study photodegradation were compared this work. Eosin Y (C.I. Generic name: Acid Red 87, EY) and crystal violet Name: Basic Violet 3, CV) used as test compounds, both solution dyed on silk. Commonly applied included, viz. Xenotest, Microfading-Tester, light-box (Spectrolinker) experiments. A novel method was based a liquid-core-waveguide (LCW) cell. After textile, extraction performed using dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). The degraded solutions extracts analysed with liquid chromatography combined diode-array detection mass spectrometry. degradation products between techniques. Degradation the LCW cell progressed much faster than standard tests (Xenotest Spectrolinker) could be online, without need for or sample transfer. of CV comparable its tests. For EY, there clear difference mechanisms in-solution on-textile samples. This due matrix incomplete extraction. Because light sources different experiments differed energy spectral emission, results not quantitatively compared. However, formed shown independent source. Therefore, attractive rapid efficient studies into chemistry photodegradation.

متن کاملCation-Exchange Resin Assisted Fenton Degradation of Crystal Violet Dye
Adsorption techniques are widely used to remove the pollutants from waters, especially those that are not easily biodegradable. The removal of crystal violet dye (CVD) from water was studied by using Amberlyst 15, a cation-exchange resin (CER), along with Ferrous (Fe 2+ ) and H2O2 . In this study the main factors that can influence the degradation of crystal violet dye are molar ratio of [(H2O2...
